Idias Corporation Limited recently engaged the Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) in a System Modules Validation Workshop for the Management Information System currently under development, with funding from the Southern Africa Trade Connectivity Project (SATCP).
The workshop scheduled from 11th August 2025 to 15th August 2025 in Mponela, marks a significant milestone in the MIS development journey.
This engagement follows the successful validation of the system requirements specification and design documents held in May 2025. After these validations, Idias commenced full-scale system development and throughout the process, there has been close collaboration with MBS ICT staff to ensure that every function aligns with the agreed specifications. Other MBS departments have also been actively involved to avoid assumptions and ensure that every detail is addressed with precision.
The Module Validation Workshop centred on rigorous end-to-end testing of all system modules, confirming that each feature works as intended, ensuring that data is handled with reliability and accuracy and that the system is stable and scalable. It also includes verifying that the solution fully complies with MBS workflows and technical standards.
By engaging stakeholders from across MBS in this validation stage, Idias Corporation aims to deliver a solution that not only meets technical requirements but also enhances operational efficiency and supports the organisation’s long-term goals.
As a proudly Malawian-owned technology company, Idias Corporation is committed to building innovative, high-quality systems that drive efficiency, transparency and accountability. With a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge transfer, Idias continues to deliver solutions that address both the technical and operational needs of its partners.
